The dual degree partnership was sealed with ink on 23 September 2017 during the WC President’s visit to Kuala Lumpur.

On September 26, AMU formalised this partnership with a press conference. Among those present at the event were the Senior Director of MATRADE, Mr. Abu Bakar Koyakutty, the Vice Chancellor of Asia Metropolitan University, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mahmood Nazar Mohammad and AIMSMET GLOBAL Founder & President, Prof. Dato’ Dr Jayles Yeoh. Over a hundred industry captains were on hand to witness the handing over of Conditional Offer letters to the first ten (10) IEMBA students who will studying towards the dual awards.

Prof. Dato’ Dr Jayles Yeoh said, “We are indeed honoured to be working with a European institute of higher learning, Warnborough College Ireland, which is part of the Warnborough University Alliance (WUA), to provide dual recognition to Asia Metropolitan University’s International Executive Master in Business Administration (IeMBA). It’s a one-of-its-kind homegrown program in Malaysia, which is recognised and accredited by a European tertiary institution for its quality design and delivery.  Students who complete the IEMBA successfully will be awarded with awards from Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia and Warnborough College, Ireland. This is in line with globalisation and these qualifications not only encourage student mobilisation across continents but also enhance good practice in business between Asia and Europe. Students from Asia and Europe will now able to undertake the IEMBA through both blended and online learning, coupled with an AIMSMET LEADERSHIP SUMMIT in Europe (or vice versa) to globally drive their learning.”

We look forward to a fruitful partnership with AMU on the IEMBA. For more information, visit the WCI website.
